Chessboard that integrates with Staunton No 5 chess pieces, with added weight to create stability, 35 mm chess pieces made of cherry wood. Folding chessboard made of luxurious wood inlaid with mahogany and maple. Inside the folding board there is a tray for storing chess pieces inside. Pieces are designed in the "Staunton" style. Staunton is a special design for a set of chess pieces created in the mid-19th century and is now considered standard (classic). The designer of the set is considered to be Nathaniel Cook. Staunton sets are recommended for competitions organized by FIDE. The shape of the pieces is named after the English chess player Howard Staunton, who was considered the strongest chess player in the world in the 1840s. One of the unique characteristics of such figures is the slot on the bishop (many mistake this detail as a defect, but it is not).
